A few years ago on my first solo trip to Bali, I started meeting women who were living in ways I'd never seen before.
Some of them had built businesses around the lives they wanted instead of building their lives around work. Others were traveling full-time.
Most of them had completely rewritten their definition of success.
Some of those women had simply made choices I didn't know were options.
Now I’m not saying I wanted to copy their lives, but I did want to understand how they'd built them. The more women I met, the more I realized the life I wanted wasn't unusual. I'd just never met anyone living it before.
That changed everything for me.
Out of Edits was born of this curiosity. Most of us don't need more advice. We need more examples…not to follow someone’s blueprint, but for permission to create our own.
Every story expands what's possible a little more.
Once you realize there has never been only one right way to live, you start writing your own story instead of following one that was handed to you.
